İç İçe, which means "intertwined" or "woven with each other", is a festival for new Anatolian music. The cross-genre music and cultural program shows that sounds and words echo loudly across borders and thus contribute to the cultural integration of different spaces and biographies. Since then, the Anatolian region has been a melting pot for various cultural currents and musical traditions. Since the 1960s at the latest, these have been unfolding anew in our immediate neighborhood and influence our everyday life and nightlife, from underground to pop culture. We understand how people reinterpret cultural fragments of their origins in a personal way and thus make their place and heard in the societies they are home to be a core element of the festival. Based on this, İç İçe stands for hybrid identities, the acceptance of multiple affiliations and for life in post-migrant society.
